App data collection

Lexicairn collects no personal data, identifiers, usage analytics, diagnostics, location, contacts, photos, audio, health data, financial information, advertising data, or user account information. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK and does not create an account.

On-device game data

Route history, scores, longest words, streaks, expedition progress, preferences, and daily records are stored in the app's local container. The developer cannot read or retrieve this information.

Deleting the app removes its local container unless iOS restores it from a device backup under your Apple settings.

User-directed sharing

After a route, you can open Apple's system share sheet with a compact text summary. You choose the destination and recipients. Lexicairn does not upload the summary to a developer server.

The Guide includes a public link to the English Speller Database source. A network request occurs only after you select that link, and the destination site processes the request under its own privacy policy. No gameplay, profile, or device identifier is appended to the link.

Permissions and tracking

The app requests no camera, microphone, photo library, location, contacts, Bluetooth, motion, health, notification, or tracking permission. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not use Apple's advertising identifier.

Bundled word-list content

Lexicairn includes a word list generated from English Speller Database release 2026.02.25. The list and its bundled attribution are static app resources; they do not transmit information or change remotely.

Website hosting

This public policy and support website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process routine request information needed to deliver and secure the pages. The website has no account, form, advertising script, analytics script, cookie-based profile, or gameplay upload feature.

Children

Lexicairn is a general-audience word game. Because the app does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is distributed. The effective date above identifies the current policy.

Privacy questions can be sent to the developer. Do not attach private device backups or other personal records.
